Description: Warren Lee affirms that the Feast of Trumpets constitutes a pivotal event in which the shift of power in the world moves overwhelmingly into Jesus Christ's control. The purpose of this message is to examine the manner in which Christ will return to Earth. In previous encounters God had with His people, the Israelites turned their back on their covenant with Him, being drawn to the pulls of the world, rejecting, as it were, God's sovereignty, acting like rebellious, truculent children. As they demanded a physical king from Samuel and rejected the intent and particulars of Christ's first coming, Israel had been out of sync with God's governance, unable to see the true Messiah. The scriptures reveal that when Jesus Christ returns to earth, He will be seen by all men, in a glorified body, shouting cries of war, causing men's hearts to shrink, and many will be in dismay that the earthly regimes are now over for good. Christ warned His disciples not to be deceived by false Christs or false messiahs. (35 minutes)
