Description: Using stock car, computer, and biotechnology jargon, Richard Ritenbaugh illustrates how ignorant most of us feel in the wake of the exponential explosion of knowledge. Likewise, the Bible, even though widely published and distributed, has remained just as mysterious for most people. Biblical truth cannot be discerned by human intellect alone, but must be spiritually discerned. God has chosen to hide spiritual truth from the greats of the earth, but has revealed these mysteries to His called out ones. Nature testifies to God's existence and His invisible attributes, but most of mankind ignores this compelling evidence, subjecting itself to a reprobate mind. To mankind, the gospel is foolishness, but to the called, it is the only means of salvation. Only as we are chosen by God and put in Christ by His Holy Spirit can we receive the understanding and truth that the rest of the world is denied. (84 minutes)
